Introduction

Introduction

So, you want to ride to Alaska? This is one of the holy grail rides for motorcyclists in North American and around the world. Alaska is as far north as you can ride in the North American continent and like climbing a mountain, we want to do it, because it is there.

This course will walk you through the process that I, and my friends Peter and Steven, took to prepare, plan, create and execute our 2017 ride from Boston, MA to Anchorage, AK and back. For me, this trip spanned 35 days and covered just under 12,000 miles.

I hope that you will take the information presented and use it to build upon, creating the trip that you have always dreamed of.

Let's get started!
