Action Cameras
There are a lot of choices for action cameras out there. What you will need really depends on what you want to do. If you want quality, then you are going to have to spend a bit more money. Unfortunately, in camera, you generally get what you pay for. Here are the ones that I use.
GoPro Hero 11 Action Camera
When documenting my adventures, I almost exclusively use GoPro Cameras. I have 3 GoPro Hero 9s that are in good working order, but the latest and greatest is the Hero 11.
While these cameras are on the higher end of the price point and they are not perfect, they are still the gold standard.

Camera Accessories
You will need a few accessories for your cameras.
GoPro Media Mod (HERO11 Black/HERO10 Black/HERO9 Black)
If you want to do any VLOGGING, you will need to pick up a GoPro Media-Mod. This accessory allows gives you an external mic for hand held filming as well as allows you to hook up a wired mic.

If you are mounting the camera down low on the bike, you will need to protect the lens with a housing.

Of course with all of these electronic gadgets, you will need a way to charge everything. I carry a unit like this which allows me to charge 6 items at a time.

While some still prefer paper maps, I relay on my GPS to keep me on my planned routes.
Garmin ZÅ«mo XT, All-Terrain Motorcycle GPS
I have had my Zumo XT for a few years now and it has been the best Garmin I have had so far, and I have had a few. Easy to see and easier to use that previous Zumos.
Garmin inReach Mini 2
I have an older version inReach device that still works well for me, but when I am ready to upgrade, I think I will go with the InReach Mini 2 because on the bike, I use the Zumo XT for navigation. This device would be primarily for allowing my wife to track me and SOS services if required.
Communication Devices
If you are riding two up or just want to listen to music, a communicator is a great addition to your gear.
Cardo PACKTALK BOLD Motorcycle Bluetooth Intercom
This is the unit that I have been using since just before we went to Alaska in 2017. It has worked great, and still does but the charging port in now a bit loose and I will be upgrading to the new Pack Talk Edge. This is however still a great option at a slightly lower price.

Power Distribution Modules
It you are adding accessories to your modern motorcycle, isolating them from the bikes main electrical system is essential. These devices are solid state units, eliminating the need for fuses and relays.
Rowe Electronics PDM60 Power Distribution Module
I have this model on my Triumph Tiger and I have used one on my Yamaha Super Tenere to isolate accessories for the bikes internal circuits. It works great is easy to install and is programmable.
